18 buss live
sound console
Allen & Heath originally set out to create a
compact, flexible 8-group mixer on a 4-group budget. Once they met
that seemingly impossible design brief, they even managed to include
mute groups and a 12x2 matrix, giving you really serious control and
output capability at a sensible cost.
Since then,
the GL3300 has won them a lot of friends in hire companies and
multi-purpose venues by performing so many jobs so well. It’s a
powerful, easy to use front of house console. With the press of a
few switches it’s a thoroughbred monitor mixer with 8 aux mixes on
100mm faders. How’s that for bang for your buck?
The GL3300M-840 D is configured with 32 mono
channels + 8 stereo channels at the far right of the console and the
GL3300M-832 D is configured with 24 mono channels + 8 stereo
channels at the far right of the console.
Console features:
• 8 groups assignable from paired routing buttons and pan from
channels. Groups 5-8 have XLR outputs and 1-4 are to the mix only -
all of which sport inserts.
• 8 auxiliaries switchable pre/post fade in blocks: 1-4, 5-8.
• 4-band EQ plus HPF and separate controls for sweep and cut/boost
on mid bands. • Included meter bridge and PSU (power supply unit).
• 12 x 2 matrix with 2 matrix outputs (A & B) that are fed from the
groups and the LR busses and the stereo returns - and a whole lot
more. The GL3300 is a full-featured console that offers everything a
large format situation could ask for - except the price!
